Tarzan of the Apes

I finished this book last night staying up until 1am. (>_<) I really love the story of Tarzan. There's something very intriguing about a baby being raised by apes and learning to survive in the jungle. Edgar Rice knows how to make his descriptions just so appealing. My eyes were glued to the pages whilst reading about the interactions between Tarzan and Jane. Jane was thinking most of the time how hot Tarzan was, lol. There's lots of reader candy with the constant reminders of how handsome and perfectly toned Tarzan's body is, hurhur. ;) I'm a sucker for romance stories, especially with a hero as physically perfect and chivalrous as Tarzan. The story is cool too and I'm patiently waiting for tomorrow when I can go to the library and borrow the next volume to see what happens with Tarzan and Jane~! I'm so happy because I checked the library last night and they had the book checked in. Guess not too many people are borrowing Edgar Rice books...

Here's my Twilight obsession at its best. @.@ This book was from a Marshalls that my mom and I were randomly at shopping for a new comforter. This is sooooo a collector's item but it's interesting. Maybe I'll put a picture of the inside one day. As for the books, I don't think I have the 'collector's' fever there. lol For the first one, we have the movie picture opposed to the iconic "apple" cover. I've re-read the first two so far. Oh! There's the last one. xD I usually have at least one book on my bed. I'm currently re-reading Eclipse. I'm trying to re-read the last HP book but I guess I'm too caught up with Twilight. xP

The Vampire Diaries, pretty good story and why Stephenie Meyer did NOT copy L.J. Smith

After reading Twilight, this is the next best thing that's ever happened to me. I know that in the beginning, there's the main character that's a stereotypical, spoiled, blond girl who's super popular and gets whatever she wants and of course first impressions would make the average person immediately have distaste for this character. I gave it a chance though and I didn't regret my decision. She's actually quite a strong character that's deeper than she seems. She also has two great friends that are quite amusing, especially the psychic one. The male lead of the story is this brooding vampire named Stefan and he's very similar to Edward with his "I'm a monster" self-hate attitude towards himself and his dark, sexy, and mysterious outward appearance. The love rival is none other than Stefan's older brother Damon and he's the direct opposite of his brother. He's arrogant, selfish, and can be very cruel. He does whateve...
