Today I'd like to talk about a big fashion blunder I made yesterday. You know you've made a fashion blunder when you see yourself in a nearby mirror and realize how BAD you look. That was me yesterday at the mall.  I decided to go after work and I decided to wear a T-shirt under my work shirt.  I also wore a light knit cardigan over my T-shirt.  But this is not the worst part. To top it off, I was wearing tight black jeans/jeggings and old sneakers.   Yes... sneakers. ( > ~ < ) I'm a short person.  My legs aren't that long and so I need to be careful of what I wear. Even if a person isn't that short, depending on if their proportions are such that their upper body or lower body are longer or shorter than the other, they'll need to compensate. What I mean is that if you wear something top heavy, you'll probably want to wear something tight or slimming for your lower body.  And vice verse. I'll be real here, my old sneakers are ugly...

Today was one of those busy days where everything factored in made me really tired. So, I decided to give myself a cookie! I went to the Asian market near my workplace after my shift and bought all kinds of goodies. :D I was too lazy to take pictures of everything but it mostly consisted of yanyans, senbei, ramen, milk tea, nori flakes, and cabbage buns. ^^  This potato snack was quite tasty.  I always see things flavored on potato but never the other way around. I think that if a person works really hard, they should reward themselves by treating themselves to something nice.  It doesn't have to be anything expensive, it could be something as simple as an ice cream cone.  It's just that (in my case at least), there are times where I'm so hard on myself and work too much and never play.  It can really bring me down..  But there's no better mood-lifter than giving oneself a 'cookie' for a good job! Hello, hello!  How is everyone doing?  I must be doing pretty well since I actually made a new post within a reasonable amount of time, lol. The last post was a insanely long one about why I think an anime couple should be together forever...  Sorry, it was obsessive, I know.  I just love that couple and if anyone else watches the anime, maybe you'll understand my feels.  xD A long cold front has hit us once again.  This has resulted in me and my dogs reverting to couch potatoes. I got 2 jackets, a beanie, and two leggings.  Initially I ordered 3 jackets but one was indefinitely out of stock.  D:  It's kind of disappointing since their website didn't even have a notice that they were out of stock..  Well, what can you do?... So this is a shopping option that I would have completely shunned a few years ago.  The reason is because of my fear of catching some kind of foot fungus/infection from wearing used shoes. On my recent excursion to a thrift store, I just couldn't resist and ended up getting some really cute footwear.  They were a super bargain as they ended up being only $3.00-3.50 each!  I got them for a lot cheaper because it was a senior sale day where seniors get 50% off a ton of items (if you aren't a senior, remember to take a parent or grandparent with you!).  I'm sure that if I'd bought some of these brand new, they would easily cost me $50+.      Hooray for a successful bargain! The blue colored sandals and the black strapped heels were bought new but the rest are my ultimate bargain babies!  xD As for the 'foot cooties' problem that comes with used shoes, I've finally found the solution.  If one thinks logically, fungus or any other kind ...

Hi hi!  I'm back again and as promised, I'll be writing about some fashion trends that I've observed this year.  :3 I'm sorry if this is kind of a let down for readers with the irony of me writing about summer fashion trends at the very end of the summer.  We can all blame it on my procrastinating nature. xD Oh well, at least we'll be somewhat prepared for next year.  The summer fashion this year was very nice and I have a feeling that there won't be any drastic changes for next year. Yesssss!  I'm finally finished with spring semester!!!! (ﾉ〃^▽^〃)ﾉ｡･:*:･ﾟ★，｡･:*:･ﾟｵﾒﾃﾞﾄｰ♪ I'm so happy because for the last few days I was really wanting to move on with my life already.  xD All you people who've been through finals know what I'm talking about! I've been sooo lazy, I don't even know why...  I've really gotta get off my ass and do something!  I thought writing in this blog might get my brain motivated to study. I still have one class I'm going to have to finish so that means study, study, study for the upcoming exams. Well, at least I have something to be proud of today since I cooked some miso soup and rice. ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ I recently ventured out to my local mall and stopped by the only store I visit, Forever21.  I was so happy because I finally found a couple of dresses for the spring to wear with my cardigans!  The bottom two are the dresses and the top are spring blouses.  Not only that, but I finally took the plunge and purchased a pea coat on yesstyle.com for around $68 total (shipping included). I'm quite happy with it and glad I took the opportunity to buy it while it was around 30% off.  During the holidays, I saw something like this and it was around $72 without a discount....
