Do Re Mi

While browsing in Target's 'dollar' section, I came across these super cute DIY mini potted plants~! Right now I saw they had strawberry, forget-me-not, and poppy seeds.  I decided against strawberries because I was thinking about it possibly attracting bugs. :P I've always thought about trying to grow my own mini plants but never got to it.  I'm trying to grow the little seedlings right now and after researching a bit, I found that it's good to keep them in a warm environment with adequate moisture.  I also read something that suggested I place the germinating seeds on top of the fridge because apparently it's warmer than the rest of the house up there. I put some plastic wrap over the mini pots and poked a few holes in them to hold in the moisture.  Here's what they look like now.. Hopefully I'm doing this right.  It would be cute to have mini flowers on my windowsill.  ( ^ _ ^ )

Here are the cute pinwheels that we got from a dollar store. They make cute little spinning sounds in the wind.. Why is it that I always post so late and miss out on some great blogger writings? Errg.... -__- To sum up what I missed, my Spring Break didn't amount to much, unfortunately.. I ended up NOT going to that Red Riding Hood movie since I was advised not to. People were saying that it was really bad. I went online too and the reviews were not so great, the negativity towards that movie was too much so I decided against it. I'm gonna wait for the movie to come out on DVD for this one. So sad, I was so looking forward to seeing another movie in theatres again... Guess what! Just a few days after that post about losing my camera, I actually found it! erm.. well, 'I' didn't technically. Okay, so my sister found it. She was wearing this jacket and it was in the jacket pocket. -.-; Of course I would never have looked there. Now I'm all happies because I can finally post the pictures for the newest updates as of now! Okay, so first, the tulips! More of them survived and bloomed and they are so beautiful-! My mom bought these tulips around the 4th of Feb and they were so prettiful! ^^ They lasted a pretty long time because even though they bloomed, the petals would close at night. It was cool. xP The colors were also so vibrant. The pink ones are almost the exact same color as my mini ceramic/clay tulips. I'll take a pic and post it on here when I get the chance. open.. and semi closed! x> This is the larger bunch. I think there were about 5-6 blossoms in this one. It was more of a reddish color.

I just love onigiri (riceballs). We have this hello kitty onigiri shaper and I really recommend that people buy it because it is so much easier than shaping these things yourself.... that is, unless you're just making onigiri balls. o_O My sister is the one who actually made the cake part of this with cake mix but I frosted and decorated it with the strawberries/sprinkles. ^^
