3-21-2014 Hey guys!  I'm sorry I've been away and neglecting blogger for so long.  For these past couple months, I've been taking a certified nurse aide (CNA) course and have finished the three longest days I've experienced in a while. I had 3 days of clinicals at a nursing home and I chose to go on the therapy unit.  I thought it might be slightly less depressing than working on the long term care unit. One thing I can definitely say is that after finishing those clinicals and then going back to my secretarial-type of job the next day, I feel like a fish thrown onto land for a while and then thrown back into the ocean.  Either that, or being teleported to another world and then teleported back.  It's all been so surreal and I wonder how long I'll be thinking about this. I usually don't do episode recaps of anime but I absolutely HAD to for this one.  Talk about a mind blower! And just so you all know, this post is a long one so be prepared!  xD  So whoever is caught up on the NagiAsu series, we've finally hit the midpoint, YAY~!!! This is something I've observed over the years of working at a variety of jobs.  There are two people involved in this situation: The enabler and the complainer . The conversation is usually small talk with the complainer well, complaining in a whiny kind of way, and the enabler smiling, laughing, agreeing, and making it seem like the complainer is the most endearing and interesting person in the world.  I really don't get why this is.  I mean, I don't like listening to others complain all day..  Not in a whiny manner that is.  Maybe it's because I have a more proactive approach to my problems. I personally don't like this behavior because it reinforces bad work ethic in the workplace and it lowers morale.  This is the evolved complaining culture of America where complaining is a conversational topic anywhere and anytime in a work setting with little to no consequence.  It's non-productive and sadly, contagious.  It also baffles me why some...

This topic came to me after my first time experiencing an onsen and sento (public bath).  For anyone who's been to any of these, you'll know what I'm talking about.  You're gonna see everything. I noticed that all the Japanese women (in the baths I visited) didn't shave their pubes.  It seems like Japan is a hair-free kind of country where they shave armpits, arms, legs, etc.  So why not pubic hair? After doing some research, it appears that generally porn stars in Japan shave their pubes.  It's uncommon and not expected of the main public to do so.  I guess that means that if a girl were to shave her pubey's, she's telling the world she's a whore. There's also the theory where pubic hair hides the lady parts so it's seen as more modest. My question is, for the first theory, how true is this belief?  Does a girl really appear slutty if she shaves her pubic hair in Japan? 

This is a comedy type of trend that I've been seeing on youtube lately.  I'm sure there are tons others but these are fairly popular and they seem to have been popping up one after the other.  I've found 4 youtube channels that all have a similar theme.  Movie parodies .    Tobuscus ScreenJunkies BadLipReading CinemaSins I put these in order from who seemingly started the theme.  I went by the dates of the videos so if that's inaccurate, I'm sorry, I was going by the youtubers' channel info. I feel that Tobuscus is truly the one who started the movie parody theme because I had seen his video from way back, at least a couple years ago.  The first video I watched by him was the Harry Potter literal trailer. Here I am in my cozy room sipping some fruit punch soda (it's really refreshing btw ^^).  It's still drizzling outside.  I guess monsoon season has officially started because I've noticed the steady increase in rainfall.  Not that I'm complaining.  ;)  I really love the rain.  It's like all of the crap from earlier never happened.  As I left from work, the weather mocked me with its cool, steady drops of rain and the sun giving its last farewell for the day, peaking through the clouds.  I even saw a double rainbow! I'm sure most people ask themselves this question at some point in their lifetime.  Hell, they might ask this question all the time. As for me, I'm still in my 20's and it's proven to be one of my most lost and confusing years. I've been in school literally around 4-5 years and still haven't gotten a bachelor's from it.  I feel lucky to have somehow put together an Associates degree. When I think back, I feel like I've been spending a lot of time running around aimlessly, unsure of where I'm going or why I'm doing this. It's nice to say that I haven't spent every waking moment lost and confused but I still feel that a lot of time was spent experimenting with no real direction. I was thinking about small, petty things that used to bother me when I was younger.  I thought about what I've improved on in my life because I feel that I have a lot of issues, lol. So one of the things I thought about was how I would be bothered by something that someone said to me or maybe certain actions that someone did or did not do. One of the big things was how people might not comment or take notice of something that I did to my hair, clothes, makeup, etc.   Over time, I thought to myself, why do I care?  Do I feel the need to be accepted?... noticed?... or maybe I just wanted an ego boost.  Then I thought, hey, does it really matter if a person comments on whatever I did or not?  What truly matters is that I care about it! People can comment all they want about something but if you don't care, none of their comments really matter. I mentioned earlier that I went to the mall recently.  Anyone who's been to a mall has probably seen all the kiosks that scatter the walkways with eager salespeople trying to pull people over. I had finally finished my sweater shopping and was heading back to meet my sis at the food court.  As I was walking by this kiosk, I briefly made contact with the salesperson so gave a friendly smirk.  Now that I think back on it, I should NOT have done that because apparently, that was an opening for him to come over to talk to me about whatever he was selling.
