Do Re Mi

Hooray for the 100th post~! (^0^) I finally got to watching the last installment of the Harry Potter series (The Deathly Hallows Pt2) last night with my dad (and may I add that he was so loud, especially on the quiet parts of the movie, I even had to elbow him and tell him to be quiet... And then he's laugh at inappropriate times, so embarrassing, thank God it was dark). Sorry to say but after viewing it for the first time, I really prefer Pt1. I don't know why, maybe it's because I liked the scenery better or those particular scenes opposed to the 2nd part of the movie. My favorite scenes were the one with the doe patronus and Harry & party running down the streets of London and when they infiltrated the ministry. I'd have to watch the last Hp movie again to give a better review because sometimes when I watch the movie again, I have a better impression of it. The last movie was full of effects and flare. This past Monday, I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt1 with a friend and it was so awesome! The movie was filmed brilliantly. There's a lot of thrilling parts along with many buildups of tension, even if this isn't the most exciting half of the book. The director did a great job with it. The acting was also very convincing and all the actors in my opinion did an amazing job in their roles. I was moved. I didn't compare the movie to the book since I hadn't read it in a while. I chose not to read it beforehand. I think people should enjoy the movie for what it is and not expect it to be a complete visual of the book. If you're thinking about seeing this movie, the extra money for going to an earlier screening is definitely worth it. I usually go to AMC theatres and it's $10.50 for the regular price until around 2-3 weeks later when people can start using coupons. Today is my last day of work for the week and I'm so happy since Christmas is officially OVER-!!!! ^___^ Now I can focus on New Years, the more important holiday of the month. u.u I recently found this cool blog with a ton of Japanese recipes. I'll be looking over that for now. Arigatou Maki-Saaaaaan~! I'm excited because I got this idea to make New Year Soba (Toshikoshi Soba) and I do love cooking. Sadly, I've been unbalanced and been mostly baking. So far, I've baked cookies, cakes, and mochi (note: learn to make butter mochi). I should've posted pics on here but the chiffon cake that I attempted wasn't as good-looking as I hoped it would look and with the others, they were nothing new. I still have to perfect the chiffon cake. Here's my Twilight obsession at its best. @.@ This book was from a Marshalls that my mom and I were randomly at shopping for a new comforter. This is sooooo a collector's item but it's interesting. Maybe I'll put a picture of the inside one day. As for the books, I don't think I have the 'collector's' fever there. lol For the first one, we have the movie picture opposed to the iconic "apple" cover. I've re-read the first two so far. Oh! There's the last one. xD I usually have at least one book on my bed. I'm currently re-reading Eclipse. I'm trying to re-read the last HP book but I guess I'm too caught up with Twilight. xP
