3-21-2014 Hey guys!  I'm sorry I've been away and neglecting blogger for so long.  For these past couple months, I've been taking a certified nurse aide (CNA) course and have finished the three longest days I've experienced in a while. I had 3 days of clinicals at a nursing home and I chose to go on the therapy unit.  I thought it might be slightly less depressing than working on the long term care unit. One thing I can definitely say is that after finishing those clinicals and then going back to my secretarial-type of job the next day, I feel like a fish thrown onto land for a while and then thrown back into the ocean.  Either that, or being teleported to another world and then teleported back.  It's all been so surreal and I wonder how long I'll be thinking about this. It's been about 8 years and I still dream about the guy...  It's so weird.  Why would I care about a person that I didn't even know well after so long?  My subconscious doesn't seem to want to let him go. My mind always had a strange way taking an interest in guys.  Like, they didn't necessarily have to be super handsome or good-looking.  It's like my mind just takes a random interest in someone and it might not even be my 'ideal' type! When I was in high school,  for SOME reason, I took an interest in this tall, skinny, Asian-looking white dude.  Well, I think he was white.  He looked kind of Asian since he had straight black/brown hair, pale skin, and dark eyes but I could tell that he wasn't pure Asian.  Plus, his last name was English.  Who knows, he might have been mixed. Hello, hello!  How is everyone doing?  I must be doing pretty well since I actually made a new post within a reasonable amount of time, lol. The last post was a insanely long one about why I think an anime couple should be together forever...  Sorry, it was obsessive, I know.  I just love that couple and if anyone else watches the anime, maybe you'll understand my feels.  xD A long cold front has hit us once again.  This has resulted in me and my dogs reverting to couch potatoes. One thing I'm happy about tho, is that I finally got my YesStyle package and it arrived before it snowed! I got 2 jackets, a beanie, and two leggings.  Initially I ordered 3 jackets but one was indefinitely out of stock.  D:  It's kind of disappointing since their website didn't even have a notice that they were out of stock..  Well, what can you do?... I usually don't do episode recaps of anime but I absolutely HAD to for this one.  Talk about a mind blower! And just so you all know, this post is a long one so be prepared!  xD  So whoever is caught up on the NagiAsu series, we've finally hit the midpoint, YAY~!!! At first I thought this anime was really slow moving.  Although the animation was gorgeous, had some good drama and lots of emotional tension, it didn't really go anywhere for the longest time.  Only until the last few episodes of the 'first arc' did it start to get the ball moving and finally , it exploded.  After all the hard work everyone put into the Ofunehiki, the sea god decides to screw everyone over and take Manaka, Hikari, Kaname, and everyone else in Shioshishio and put them all into an indefinite hibernation.  As for the surface world, they're left to freeze their asses off in an ongoing winter.
