Hello again! Apologies for not posting in so long.  Where have I been all this time? In Hawaii-!!!   More specifically, on the island of Oahu.  I decided to go back with dad to visit family and some friends.  Especially Grams.  I always feel sad when leaving her because she always says how she will miss us when we leave and that she misses us when we're not there.  It's heart wrenching. ( > ^ < )  We spent a lot of time together while we were still living on Oahu. It was a nice trip, besides the fact that I was sick with a cough on my way there.  Coughs really suck for me because they don't seem to want to go away.  Even when the congestion is gone, the stupid cough persists for weeks..  And get this, I actually got sick AGAIN when leaving.  It's like, I had my first cold while going there, then it may or may not have gone away, and then I catch another cold for my trip back home.  Thanks Hawaii! 1.  People will try to bring you down, but always remember that they do this because they're below you. There are times in your life, be it at work, at school, or maybe just partying where you feel like you're on cloud nine.  You're invincible, you're on a roll, and you feel awesome.  And then there's that one person who makes a snide comment. When this happens, don't get mad.  Think about it.  People who do this are only doing so because they're blinded by your light and being in the darkness, feel uncomfortable around you.  They feel inferior to you and because of this, try to put you down with mean comments.   So don't waste your energy being angry with these people.  Feel sorry for them.  Because they really do deserve our pity, being so insecure that they feel the need to make others feel bad.

Hello again.  I'm sorry for not posting in a while.  About two weeks ago, my first dog passed away.    I'll always remember her enjoying the sun in this room.  It feels as if she's still there. She was 15-years-old and such a smart and healthy girl.  She only ever got sick once with pancreatitis from which we nursed her back to health; that gave her 5 more months to enjoy life with us. We could tell something was wrong with her from about a couple weeks before her passing, when her appetite started to wane.  She didn't want to each much of her food, even her favorite homemade food of chicken and rice.  Eventually, it got to the point where she didn't want to eat at all and she didn't want to drink much either. She lost a lot more weight and was close the point of being skin and bones.  Even in this state, she was still such a beautiful dog.  She had a smooth, white coat so it masked any signs of her aging. This evening, I was lazy so I decided to make some ramen.  It was a spicy Korean ramen and the picture on the package had a cracked egg in it.  So I put a cracked egg in mine, just to see if it was good.   yum yum~! I also added some cooked chicken. It was pretty tasty and the egg gives the ramen a whole new dimension.  It makes it more.. rich I think... but I'll probably leave out the egg next time.  I felt like a lot of it went to waste since I don't drink the soup. The egg does make it look more authentic though..  xD Now I'm gonna watch Soul Eater. It's one of my top recommended anime (still need to write a review for it).  The art style is fun and quirky and the story is hilarious yet has a deep theme.  I like how one of the main themes is about partnership and what it really means.  This is my second or third time watching through the series.  That's how good it is! x3  I'll probably read the manga soon....

Hello, hello! Today was okay.  I finally got through my three days with that one coworker...  If you've read previous posts, you've already seen all my complaining , discussion about that micromanaging, condescending, crazy person I work with 85% of the time. Anyhow, I'm happy since the weather has been getting so much nicer.  The pretty pink flowers in our tree are finally in bloom. There's nothing like taking a walk and then all of a sudden, see a beautiful pink blossomed tree.  I feel so special since our house is the only house with a pink blossom tree like this. x3  It almost looks like a real Sakura tree... I've started to get into self-help books such as this one: This is a book I found in our basement while we were cleaning out stuff for donation.  I decided to keep it and I'm glad I did.  It gives some really great advice and I feel like I'm on my way to becoming a wise, young sage.. lol I might quote some stuff from this ...

The full title is おおかみこどもの雨と雪 (Ookami kodomo no Ame to Yuki) "Wolf Children Ame and Yuki." I thought it was good but I wasn't that impressed.  But I may have ruined the suspense for myself since I read the movie synopsis before watching it. xP This is a movie that centers around motherhood.  I thought the theme was quite obvious.  I was a bit put off by how a lot of the side characters were only plot devices.  They only seemed to appear when the story needed to move forward and I felt a lack of connection to them.  I know they're side characters but still, side characters are important too!  This movie could take some tips from Miyazaki-san.  Side characters in his movies always have important roles in the story and are memorable.  They don't just show up when the plot needs them to move forward.  The dad turned out to be a lot more dull than I expected.  I wish the story did more with his character, even if it was with flashba...
