So glad I have this blogger...

I'd just like to state to myself and whoever reads that I'm so happy that I've discovered blogger. It's not necessarily that I want a ton of people to read it and have it become this huge popular thing. I just see it as an 'internet diary' where I can sort out my thoughts and let out my frustrations (if I have any).

But it's kind of sad in a way because it's making me lazy to hand write things. Typing is just so much easier for me because it's quick and fast with just a tap of my fingers.

Hand writing is dying out. How sad..
That reminds me, I'll have to practice my script.

Why does Lightning look so different in FFXIII Lightning Returns? [SPOILERS-!]

I finally finished the game Lightning Returns recently and zomg, why does her face look so different?  I mean, she looks like she got plastic surgery. Before I begin, I'd like to point out that I am not criticizing the game in its entirety.  This is solely about the change in Lightning's hair and facial design.  The game play of Lightning Returns has nothing to do with this. :) I didn't really notice her face change until I beat the game and watched the ending CG animation scene.  (pic above is from the opening CG scene) I was a bit disappointed that the animators weren't consistent in her facial design, especially when it was so beautiful to begin with. Here's some compare/contrast pics I found. This one is of the CG animation for FFXIII, FFXIII-2, and FFXIII Lightning Returns. Anime Food!: Brock's Cream Stew

Hello again!  My apologies for taking so long to make another 'Anime Food' post.  Enjoy! During my childhood days of watching Pokemon, I would often see Brock cooking this white stew thing.  It would look so yummy but I had no idea what it was..  And even though my entire family and extended family was Japanese, none of them ever made something like this.  (T__T)  The closest thing I got was corn chowder. Only recently did I discover that it's called cream stew and luckily, it's quite the easy recipe. ^^ I remember the very first time I made this.  I used a cream stew mix pack from the store (the one that has the blocks that you melt in the pot).  That turned out pretty bad so I highly recommend people make this one from scratch.  It's really does taste so much better this way.  I'm lazy so instead of having the pretty diced pieces of carrot, I threw in some baby carrots.  XD Close up ;3 I found this recipe ...

Japan: Shaving "down there" = Impure?

This topic came to me after my first time experiencing an onsen and sento (public bath).  For anyone who's been to any of these, you'll know what I'm talking about.  You're gonna see everything. I noticed that all the Japanese women (in the baths I visited) didn't shave their pubes.  It seems like Japan is a hair-free kind of country where they shave armpits, arms, legs, etc.  So why not pubic hair? After doing some research, it appears that generally porn stars in Japan shave their pubes.  It's uncommon and not expected of the main public to do so.  I guess that means that if a girl were to shave her pubey's, she's telling the world she's a whore. There's also the theory where pubic hair hides the lady parts so it's seen as more modest. My question is, for the first theory, how true is this belief?  Does a girl really appear slutty if she shaves her pubic hair in Japan?
