The Dark Knight Rises :DDDDDD

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OOOOOOOOOOOMFG!!!  This movie was seriously the freaking BEST of the summer!  I don't think anything's gonna top this one.

The theater was pretty crowded seeing that it was only a few weeks after the mass shooting incident (my condolences and prayers go to those victims).  I felt bad for those people while sitting in that dim theater before the movie.  I thought about how horrified they must have felt when the realized that there was a real shooter trying to kill everyone there......  I probably can't even imagine.  They only wanted to watch a good movie!  I find it really sad that there are people in this world who feel like they have the right to take the lives of others, especially innocents.  That man who killed those people, he's not only a murderer, he's a thief.  He didn't just kill them, he also took them away from family/friends who loved them. 

Well, the movie was nothing short of amazing, as expected of Christopher Nolan.  It was spectacular actually.  I went into that movie expecting all kinds of senseless violent scenes with guns galore.  But it actually didn't appear that way to me.  All the action and fighting scenes seemed to have purpose and there was a good amount of hand to hand combat which was cool as I wasn't exactly in the mood to just watch people shooting each other up.

I found it really funny that a lot of the cast from Inception was shifted over into the Batman movie.  I swear I saw like, 4 of them.  I was half expecting to see Leo Dicaprio pop out somewhere.  lol

"Wait a minute..."

  "How can half the cast of Inception be in the movie except me?!"

This film was great because it showed some serious character development from Bruce Wayne.  He seemed so vulnerable and human.  He learned that he had to have fear to become stronger.  I see this theme reoccur in lots of shows.  It's that whole, "Once one accepts their fear, they become a stronger person" type of theme.


I think they look good together, don't you? 

Anne Hathaway did a great job with her catwoman role.  She was baaaaaaaaaaad.  x3  And kicked some serious ass.  I commend her on getting away from her cute princessey roles and evolving into this badass heroine.

Another thing I liked about this movie where the sweet rides.

I'm sure a lot of others noticed this awesome motorbike!  I've gotta get me one of these. xD

Of course I CAN'T forget the sexy and talented Joseph Gordon-Levitt-!!!!!!!!!!! (*__*)

"Oh and btw, I''ll probably have my own movie coming up."


"Orly?"

Yeah that's right, spoiler alert but the end of the movie hints that JGL is gonna have a big role in possible sequels as Robin.  I couldn't have picked a better actor for that role.

Anime Food!: Brock's Cream Stew

Hello again!  My apologies for taking so long to make another 'Anime Food' post.  Enjoy! During my childhood days of watching Pokemon, I would often see Brock cooking this white stew thing.  It would look so yummy but I had no idea what it was..  And even though my entire family and extended family was Japanese, none of them ever made something like this.  (T__T)  The closest thing I got was corn chowder. Only recently did I discover that it's called cream stew and luckily, it's quite the easy recipe. ^^ I remember the very first time I made this.  I used a cream stew mix pack from the store (the one that has the blocks that you melt in the pot).  That turned out pretty bad so I highly recommend people make this one from scratch.  It's really does taste so much better this way.  I'm lazy so instead of having the pretty diced pieces of carrot, I threw in some baby carrots.  XD Close up ;3 I found this recipe on Little Japan Mama's rec

Why does Lightning look so different in FFXIII Lightning Returns? [SPOILERS-!]

I finally finished the game Lightning Returns recently and zomg, why does her face look so different?  I mean, she looks like she got plastic surgery. Before I begin, I'd like to point out that I am not criticizing the game in its entirety.  This is solely about the change in Lightning's hair and facial design.  The game play of Lightning Returns has nothing to do with this. :) I didn't really notice her face change until I beat the game and watched the ending CG animation scene.  (pic above is from the opening CG scene) I was a bit disappointed that the animators weren't consistent in her facial design, especially when it was so beautiful to begin with. Here's some compare/contrast pics I found. This one is of the CG animation for FFXIII, FFXIII-2, and FFXIII Lightning Returns. I dyed my hurr!: Kao Liese Bubble Hair Color, Milk Tea Brown

Don't make fun of my fingers, I already know they're short and fat! lol My hair is really stubborn.  No matter what hair dye I use to lighten it, the results are almost always the same.  Even when my hair is already lightened, it somehow still manages to retain that same coppery brown color... In this case, I seemed to have gotten the 'generic' result for "Dark color hair..." I dyed my virgin Asian black/dark brown hair and here are the results:   Window lighting. (Somehow this always alters the color)  Indirect daylight lighting  Bathroom lighting Box color to actual hair comparison in low light.  Seems like it was right after all.  xP On an everyday basis, my hair color looks like a cross between window lighting and indirect daylight lighting. I was honestly freaked out at first because my hair initially looked like it was slightly bleached orange.  But after a few days, it darkened down to what is is now.  I
